ExoAtlet-II

  • ExoAtlet-II is a battery-powered lower limb rehabilitation robot that assists patients with standing, walking, and climbing/descending stairs, mimicking normal gait.

  • Certified as a medical device in Korea, Europe, and the United States.

  •  Two control methods: via tablet or crutches/controller.

  • Cam lever: quickly adjusts thigh length, calf length, and pelvis width.

  • High-capacity battery: allows for “all-day” robot gait training without recharging.

  • Mechanism/Controls

    • Movement control via software on a tablet or control panel on the crutches.

    • Movement can be stopped using the button on the left handle or the emergency button on the right handle.

  • Stop & Safety

    • Stop movement button: press the button on the left handle to stop.

    • Emergency stop button: immediately stops all movement, displays an error pop-up; to resume operation, the posture must be reset.

  • Training/Exercise Modes

    • Walking training modes (according to documentation): walking on a flat surface (step by step/continuously), walking in place, and possibly with training variations (depending on the training screen).

    • Parameters that can be set during walking training: step time, rest time, step length, step height (and walking mode selection).

    • Example of setting range (depending on the screen): time per step, stride length, step width/height…

  • Recommended for use in several major conditions:
    • CP (Cerebral Palsy): Cerebral palsy
    • Stroke: Stroke/Cerebrovascular accident
    • SCI (Spinal Cord Injury): Spinal cord injury
    • TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury): Traumatic brain injury
    • MS (Multiple Sclerosis): Multiple sclerosis
    • Parkinson’s disease: Parkinson’s disease
  • Mobility and gait rehabilitation: assists patients in regaining lost motor function by guiding their legs to mimic normal walking patterns (standing/walking/climbing/descending stairs).
  • Increased safety and stability during exercise: the suspension system enhances patient stability and ensures safety during therapy.
  • Support for controlled self-training: patients can independently train with the smart crutches in four modes (sitting, standing, walking in place, and walking).
